Several currently operating identity services are collaborating to develop the YADIS Specification:

LID

OpenID

i-name

There is now an identity service that works with any of OpenID, LID and i-name YADIS IDs.

Yoke

The YADIS Resource Descriptor is an XRD and XRIs may be used as YADIS IDs. The XRI, XDI, and XRD standards are being developed by OASIS technical commmittees:

YADIS is applicable to any URL-based identity system, such as:
